My first of the five I ordered and was disappointed with the quality of the cutting. The rectangles were all bowed on one side. I had to fudge all of my quarter inch seams. The 2 1/2 inch squares were scant and had to use scant quarter inch seams as well. Also the binding was substituted to a solid purple that I ended up substituting fabric from my own stash. I started the Christmas table runner and it was better but still dissatisfied with accuracy of the cutting.
Hi Kathleen, thank you for your feedback! I looked into why your squares and rectangles were bowed and we have corrected the problem. For the purple binding we have gone back to the orange similar to what is shown in the pictures.
Made it up right away. Gave it to my oldest daughter. She loved it as she loves halloween
This was a nice pattern and easy instructions. All fabric was pre-cut. The pieces were cut to the exact measurement but was not cut straight on the fabric. I received the wrong binding fabric, different from what was pictured but after contacting them, they have shipped the correct fabric.
I put this kit together and it is adorable. A few blocks (the boot fabric) were a little short, but workable. I know the colors can vary (which I understand), but the fabric for the binding was totally disappointing (too plain, the purple which is duller in person), so I'll replace it from my stash. The backing fabric was a terrific Halloween pattern. I do recommend this kit.
Liked the runner but have not made it yet.
